flow

flow was created for Dr. Tai-Hsi Fan from the UConn School of Engineering. It is an abstract sequence of experiments that demonstrate the beauty of fluid dynamics and phase transitions. A macro lens was used to film various combinations of acrylic paint, ink, oil, milk and dish soap to emulate the flow state where ideas come from. flow bridges the gap between fine art and engineering.
